Phil Taylor (UK) has won the most darts World Championships with a total of 16 titles.

  • Won 2 with World Darts Organization (WDO) in 1990 & 1992
  • Won 14 with the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) in 1995–2002, 2004–2006, 2009–2010 and 2013.

Phil, nicknamed “The Power”, surpassed Eric Bristow’s tally of five by whitewashing Dennis Priestley 6-0 in the 1998 PDC final.
